Commissioner Kendrick has a keen interest in economic and community development as indicated by his involvement as Chairman of the Augusta Economic Development Authority, the Augusta Land Bank Authority and the E3 Leadership Foundation. He provides leadership, vision, and strategic planning for these organizations as the first two concentrate on recruiting and collaborating with businesses and organizations who want to locate, and expand in our local community and the latter focuses on leadership and community development.

CADI Program – Developed, launched, and managed the highly successful clean up and security program

Saturday Market – Developed, launched, and managed the Saturday Market program

Augusta, Georgia Land Bank Authority, Member & Advisor

Choice Neighborhoods Initiative Grant – Led effort for successful grant submission to eventually provide Allen Homes public housing residents with new housing options

Blight Task Force – Advised task force on policies and procedures that align with local economic development efforts

Housing – Affordable housing project where mixed income properties being developed in Downtown and East Augusta area

Completed: Pure Cycle plastics recycling plant location to Augusta with $300M in investment and 100+ jobs

Completed: Aurubis copper recycling plant location to Augusta with $400M in investment and 140+ jobs
